According to the latest reports circulating on social media, Rajinikanth was recently admitted to a private hospital in Chennai for medical attention. While initial news raised concerns, it has been confirmed that the visit was for a pre-planned procedure.
Tamil media reports clarified that the 73-year-old actor is undergoing an elective procedure under the supervision of interventional cardiologist Dr. Sai Satish at Apollo Hospitals. His condition is reported to be stable, and there’s no cause for alarm. The procedure will be performed in the cath lab on Tuesday.
Fans can rest assured that Rajinikanth is in good hands, and the procedure was pre-scheduled, not an emergency. On the work front, his highly anticipated film Vettaiyaan is set to hit theaters on October 10, so the superstar is expected to make a quick recovery and be ready for the release.
