Minchu Hula Set to Release in October A Powerful Family Drama

The much-anticipated film Minchu Hula, directed and scripted by Mahesh Kumar, is set to hit theaters on October 4. This content-driven project marks the debut of Prithviraj, grandson of Dr. Rajkumar’s brother Varadappa, adding another chapter to the illustrious Rajkumar legacy.

Produced by Rajagopal Doddahullur under the Bhoomi Pictures banner, with support from Vijay Kumar and Abdul Rafeeq Ullah, the film has the backing of National Award winner Doddahullur Rukkoji Rao, a longtime friend and collaborator of the Rajkumar family. Speaking about the project, producer Rajagopal Doddahullur shared, “I never planned to make a film. It was my childhood friend Rukkoji who inspired this journey.”

Minchu Hula tells the poignant story of a young boy and his troubled relationship with his abusive father. Forced to relocate to a crumbling home, the boy’s determination to restore electricity becomes symbolic of his desire to rebuild his life, drawing inspiration from the glow of a firefly.

Set against an urban backdrop, the film promises an emotional and transformative journey, offering a deeply moving narrative about family and resilience.
