Khalid Rahman’s Upcoming Sports Drama Alappuzha Gymkhana Starring Naslen and Lukman A Power-Packed Boxing Saga

Acclaimed director Khalid Rahman is all set to deliver another cinematic treat with his upcoming film Alappuzha Gymkhana, starring the talented Naslen Gafoor and Lukman Avaran. The film, which revolves around the intense world of boxing, promises to be a compelling sports drama. On Tuesday, the makers officially unveiled the title, sparking excitement among fans.

Scheduled for a 2025 release, the screenplay is co-written by Khalid and Sreeni Saseendran, with the dialogues penned by Ishq-fame Ratheesh Ravi. Joining Naslen and Lukman in the lead roles are actors Ganapathi and Anagha Ravi, adding to the already impressive lineup.

Alappuzha Gymkhana also features a talented supporting cast, including Sandeep Pradeep, Franco Francis, rapper Baby Jean, Shiva Hariharan, Shon Joy, and more, showcasing the film’s diverse range of characters. On the technical front, the film sees Khalid reuniting with his Thallumaala dream team — cinematographer Jimshi Khalid, editor Nishadh Yusuf, and composer Vishnu Vijay — ensuring top-notch production quality.

Action choreography is being handled by Jophil Lal and Kalai Kingson, further elevating the film’s high-energy boxing scenes. Produced under Plan B Motion Pictures and Reelistic Studios by Khalid, Jobin George, Sameer Karat, and Subeesh Kannachery, Alappuzha Gymkhana is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated films of 2025.

Both Naslen and Lukman have a busy lineup ahead. Naslen, riding high after the success of Premalu, has exciting projects like I Am Kathalan and Mollywood Times in the pipeline, while Lukman is set to star in Bombay Positive and Turkish Tharkkam.

With an ensemble cast, a gripping story, and a talented technical crew, Alappuzha Gymkhana is expected to pack a punch when it hits theaters.
