Brad Pitt and George Clooney’s Wolfs Becomes Apple TV+’s Most Watched Film

The Brad Pitt and George Clooney action-comedy Wolfs has become a massive hit on Apple TV+, achieving the platform’s top spot as its most-watched film. Premiering on September 27, Wolfs has captivated global audiences, even though Apple hasn’t disclosed specific viewership numbers. Apple Studios did, however, confirm that the film’s viewership surged by nearly 30% week over week in more than 100 countries.

Before its streaming debut, Wolfs had a limited one-week theatrical run in the US and also premiered at the prestigious Venice Film Festival. The film’s success spread internationally, with notable viewership increases in major markets like the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Italy, Mexico, Brazil, and Germany.

Fans of the film have even more to look forward to, as a sequel has already been announced. Jon Watts, who directed the latest Spider-Man trilogy for Sony, will be returning to write and direct the follow-up. Wolfs follows Brad Pitt and George Clooney as fixers who accidentally get involved in the same job—a classic setup for action-packed comedy. While it’s yet to be confirmed if Pitt and Clooney will reprise their roles in the sequel, fans are hopeful for their return.

The ensemble cast also includes Amy Ryan, Austin Abrams, Poorna Jagannathan, Richard Kind, and Zlatko Burić. The film is a production collaboration between Clooney’s Smokehouse and Pitt’s Plan B, with Watts, Clooney, Grant Heslov, Pitt, Dede Gardner, and Jeremy Kleiner all serving as producers.

This latest collaboration marks the reunion of Pitt and Clooney after 2008’s Burn After Reading, and it also harkens back to their unforgettable chemistry from Steven Soderbergh’s Ocean’s trilogy. With Wolfs now a global hit, it’s clear that the Pitt-Clooney pairing is still as strong as ever, and the anticipation for their next project is only growing.
