Bhumi Pednekar and Pulkit Reunite for a New Project Backed by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment

Bhumi Pednekar and Pulkit are set to reunite after their critically acclaimed performance in Bhakshak, a gripping retelling of the Muzaffarpur Shelter Case, which was streamed on Netflix. The talented duo will once again share the screen in a new project produced by none other than Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment.

According to Pinkvilla, the film is still in its early stages of development, and the rest of the cast has yet to be revealed. This collaboration with Red Chillies marks a significant milestone for Bhumi Pednekar, who has often expressed her admiration for Shah Rukh Khan. In a recent Q&A on Instagram, Bhumi shared her excitement about getting the opportunity to work with Red Chillies, calling Shah Rukh her “childhood dream.”

She shared, “Honestly, an actor… Actor kya superstar, childhood dream is SRK. I’ve come close because he produced Bhakshak, and the cool thing is that Dunki and Bhakshak are both trending on Netflix, which is so cool. Big shout out to Red Chillies. But mera dream hei, Shah Rukh sir. He is just the best.”

The duo’s previous collaboration in Bhakshak received critical praise, thanks to its powerful performances and compelling storytelling. The film featured an ensemble cast, including Sanjay Mishra, Aditya Srivastava, Sai Tamhankar, and others. The music was composed by Anurag Saikia with lyrics penned by Raj Shekhar and Anuj Garg.

In addition to her upcoming film with Pulkit, Bhumi Pednekar is also preparing for her Netflix series debut in The Royals, a modern-day Indian royalty rom-com directed by Priyanka Ghose and Nupur Asthana. The series is generating buzz as it will mark the Netflix debut of veteran actress Zeenat Aman.

With this exciting lineup of projects, Bhumi Pednekar continues to solidify her position as one of Bollywood’s most versatile and dynamic actors.
